A little bit about me...
Hi, I’m Marie Greene, a designer who thrives at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and technology, with over 10 years of design experience. I focus on the entire UX/product design process, delivering scalable, user-centric solutions that drive business success for startups and early-phase companies.
My design journey began with a fascination for photography and how both the camera and software can shape our perception of the world. This led to a passion for Photoshop, and mastering these tools became the foundation of my design career.
I started at CHQ Dublin, joining a small team in the company’s early stages. As the only designer within the marketing team, I balanced design and digital marketing responsibilities. This role taught me to manage complex projects, develop a strategic mindset, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Currently, I lead UX and UI design at Zark Parking Solutions, a startup in the SaaS B2C and B2B space. I create intuitive apps and web apps that serve our internal team, businesses, and consumers. From designing admin tools that streamline operations to developing user-friendly platforms, my work focuses on crafting scalable, data-driven solutions. I’ve also supported Zark’s expansion from parking management into new markets, introducing new rentable item types and enhancing customer experiences.
Earlier, I worked with Brown Thomas Arnotts, working cross-funtionally with developers, editorial, and marketing teams to create award-winning digital experiences. Our work earned recognition at the Irish eCommerce Awards and The Spiders for Best UX, Best App, and several other categories.

I’m also a proud graduate of The University of Edinburgh and NCAD, Dublin, where I honed my skills (and figured out what I didn’t want to do!), shaping my career and who I am today.
